What are PwC Acceleration Centers?

PwC Acceleration Centers are hubs of highly skilled professionals that provide various services and support to PwC’s global network. We have active centers with over 36,000 PwC employees in the US, Mexico, Argentina, India, China, and the Philippines, with more on the way. These centers focus on delivering high-quality, cost-effective managed services across different domains, including technology, consulting, and assurance, enabling PwC to enhance its service offerings and improve client efficiency.

My Role as a Senior Director for U.S. Tech Operational Delivery

My Responsibilities

Operational Oversight

  • Management of Operations: I oversee the day-to-day operations of the technology teams within the Acceleration Centers, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently.





  • Quality Assurance: I ensure that the services delivered meet PwC’s high standards of quality and consistency. This includes implementing and maintaining quality control measures and continuous improvement initiatives.

Client Engagement

  • Stakeholder Management: I act as the POC for key stakeholders within PwC and external clients. I build and maintain strong relationships to understand their needs and ensure their satisfaction with the services provided.



  • Service Delivery: I coordinate with clients to understand their requirements and ensure that the Acceleration Centers deliver services that meet or exceed their expectations.

Strategic Planning and Execution

  • Strategic Initiatives: I develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the capabilities and efficiency of the Acceleration Centers. This involves identifying opportunities for innovation and process improvement.



  • Resource Allocation: I ensure that resources are allocated effectively to meet client demands and operational needs. This includes workforce planning, budgeting, and managing the centers' overall capacity.

Team Leadership and Development

  • Leadership: I lead a team of professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship. I ensure team members are motivated, engaged, and equipped with the necessary skills to deliver high-quality services.

  • Professional Development: I foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth. This involves identifying training needs and opportunities for team members to develop their skills and advance their careers.

Process Improvement and Innovation

  • Process Optimization: I identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery. This includes leveraging technology and best practices to streamline operations.

  • Innovation: I promote a culture of innovation within the Acceleration Centers, encouraging team members to propose and implement new ideas that can enhance service offerings and operational performance.

Risk Management and Compliance

  • Risk Assessment: I identify and mitigate service delivery and operations risks. I ensure that the centers comply with all relevant regulations and standards.




  • Governance: I establish and maintain robust governance frameworks to ensure accountability and transparency.

Examples of Typical Projects and Services Delivered:

  • Technology Implementation: I lead the implementation of new technologies and systems for clients, ensuring seamless integration with their existing infrastructure.

  • Data Analytics and Insights: I provide data analytics services to help clients gain valuable insights from their data, enabling them to make informed business decisions.

  • Cybersecurity Services: I offer cybersecurity solutions to protect clients' digital assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Process Automation: I implement robotic process automation (RPA) and other automation tools to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual workload for clients.

  • Application Development and Support: I develop and maintain custom applications to meet clients' business needs.
